Birdon, the Volcanic Bird, a Tsuburaya monster that first appeared in Ultraman Taro and continues to linger in the hearts of fans for its overwhelming strength, is now available as an action figure from BANDAI SPIRITS' SHFiguarts! Pre-orders will begin at 4:00 PM on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the Tamashii Web Shop within Premium Bandai!With the cooperation of Tsuburaya Productions' modeling department and LSS, the figure has been recreated in three dimensions, measuring approximately 155mm in height, while retaining the intricate details of the suit seen in the film. The sculpture accurately captures Birdon's distinctive features, such as the detailed fur and sharp beak. The coloring has been based on various still photographs from the time, recreating the image of Birdon. The vivid vermilion-based body coloring has been meticulously recreated with separate paint jobs, and the fur has also been colored, creating a detailed three-dimensional effect.The figure encompasses the full range of motion required for Bardon's actions. The arms are flexible enough to recreate the iconic wing-spreading pose seen in the film. It also includes flame-throwing effect parts, which are also featured in the film.
