The prototype was created by Shinichi Wakasa, who has been involved in the creation of numerous monsters. Each figure is meticulously sculpted down to the smallest detail. The coloring is based on various still photographs from the time, recreating the image of Megaguirus. The distinctive sinister coloring has also been meticulously pursued.
